Day 01 || Arrival at NJP RLY Station / IXB Airport - Gangtok

As you will arrive at New Jalpaiguri railway station (Siliguri) or Bagdogra Airport (Siliguri), our representative will be waiting for you to transfer you to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On your journey to Gangtok, you will be passing through rolling tea plantations up and down the hill. Overnight dinner and stay at Gangtok hotel.

 

Day 02 || Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Kickstart your day with a hearty meal as today is going to be a fun day. According to your pre-decided schedule, you will be visiting Tsomgo Lake (12,400 Feet), a high-altitude lake that is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhist. After spending few minutes at the lake, you will visit the Baba Mandir (13,200 Feet). Dinner and Overnight stay at Gangtok.

 

Day 03 || Gangtok to Lachen (118 Kms/6 Hrs)

In the morning, we will drive to Lachen (9,400 ft, 118 km). On the way, we will visit the Seven Sister Waterfalls. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Check in at the hotel in the late afternoon. An overnight stay at the hotel in Lachen.

 

Day 04 || Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake (40 Kms Each Side) – Lachung (44 Kms/2 Hrs)

Today morning, we will drive towards Gurudongmar Lake (17,000ft). Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest situated lakes in North Sikkim. The altitude here may cause breathing problem so be careful. Later return back to the hotel and leave for Lachung. Enjoy an overnight stay at Lachung.

 

Day 05 || Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion (21 Kms Each Side) – Gangtok (118 Kms/6 Hrs)

After breakfast in the morning, we will proceed to Yumthang Valley which is also known as the Valley of Flowers (11800 Ft / 3598 Mts / 25 Kms / 1 ½ hours one way). On the way back, we will visit the hot spring which is considered to have medicinal properties. Later return back to hotel & leave for Gangtok. An overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

 

Day 06 || Gangtok – Pelling (150 kilometer / 5 hours) via Buddha Park

Post breakfast embark on a ride to Pelling, a tiny hamlet located in the West Sikkim. During the journey from Gangtok to Pelling, you will stop at Ravangla where you will be going to visit Buddha Park, also known as TathagataTsal is located near Rabong, and it is features 130 -feet long high statue of Buddha as centrepiece.  On arrival in Pelling, you will be transferred to hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

 

Day 07 || Pelling Sightseeing

Early morning treat yourself to the beautiful view of mountains. In the first half of the day, you will be visiting Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. Then in the second half, you will visit Pemayangtse Monastery (one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim), Rabdentse Ruins, and New Helipad Ground. Dinner and overnight stay at Pelling hotel.

 

Day 08 || Pelling to Darjeeling (115 Km)

After breakfast drive to Darjeeling in West Bengal. The journey runs through the winding road cutting across the valleys, hills and villages and follows the course of Teesta River and then beautiful Rangit River till Legship. Take a refreshing break at the view point near Melli and watch the magnificent confluence of Teesta River and Rangit River. Later continue drive to darjeeling and check into a hotel on arrival for overnight stay.

 

Day 09 || Darjeeling Full Day Sightseeing 

Early in the morning, we will leave for Tiger Hill for witnessing sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga. Return to the hotel and en-route visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Later, after breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday) and Tea Garden (outer view). Return to the hotel for lunch and spend rest of the day at leisure, followed by overnight stay.

 

Day 10 || Darjeeling to (IXB) Bagdogra / NJP Departure

In the morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel on time and get transferred IXB Airport for your onward journey.
